SITE SURVEY

The site survey is essential in the planning of your project. We will schedule a 30–45-minute time slot for a site surveyor to come take about 100 photos of your roof and electrical panel. They will get on top of the roof and take in depth photos of your roof and structure of the home. We need to make sure that your roof is in a good enough condition to be able to hold the panels. The electrical panel is critical for a couple different reasons. First, we need to make sure the brand of your panel is not a prohibited brand in your city. As rules and regulations change over time, these requirements also change. Secondly, we need to make sure your panel has enough back feed capacity for the new panels. Most of the time, this results in a main panel upgrade being required in order to proceed. After the site survey is complete, we receive the results in about 1-3 weeks.
