IN-HOME ASSESSMENT

Electricity is a modern necessity. Making sure you have it in freezing and scolding temperatures outside, is essential. Your initial in-home appointment will be the turning point in your decision to switch to solar. Either it makes sense for your home, and you want to see if the home qualifies, or it doesn't make much sense for your home at that time, and you decide not to make the switch. Either way, during this appointment, we will give you all the information needed to make an informed decision for the future of your home's electricity.

Solar is not a one-size-fits-all. It looks different for every single home. We take into account your current electricity usage, your future electricity goals, the shading on your roof, your roof angles and azimuth, what appliances and amenities your home has and plans to get, and more. All of this information tells us exactly how many solar panels your home needs to cover all of your electricity usage. Once we get that magic number, we like to add 2-5 more panels for two reasons. First, to cover the 0.5% annual degradation of the panels and second, so you can truly live freely without having to worry about turning lights off or your AC up. 

California is one of only a few states where solar actually offers savings as a byproduct. The majority of the other states are going solar for all of the other benefits solar brings, such as predictable billing, cleaner power, an investment into their home, and control over their power. Luckily here in California, we receive all of those benefits PLUS we get to see monthly savings! That is because our power is so expensive here in California and the cost to go solar is much less than we are currently paying to our utility company.
